
South Division Semifinals Shift to Savannah

ESTERO, Fla. - The South Division Semifinals shifts to Enmarket Arena as the Florida Everblades play Game 3 against the Savannah Ghost Pirates on Wednesday, April 29 at 7:00 p.m.
Florida leads the best of seven series 2-0 following 2-0 and 4-1 wins on home ice in Games 1 and 2 respectively. Cam Johnson has stopped 54 of 55 shots to start the series, including all 29 in Game 1 for the shutout win, while Oliver Cooper leads the Everblades offense with a goal and two assists. Savannah's only goal in the series came off the stick of Matt Koopman.
The Everblades won each series in the last two years where they have taken a 2-0 series lead. Last season, Florida swept the Jacksonville Icemen in the opening round then defeated the Orlando Solar Bears in the South Division Finals in five games. Savannah is looking for their first playoff win in franchise history in their first hope playoff game in team history.
Game 4 is set for Friday night, while Game 5 is scheduled for Saturday, if necessary. Both games will be at Enmarket Arena while Florida will host Games 6 and 7 if needed.
