
Dodgers Select Contract of Dominguez; Isotopes Active White

Albuquerque Isotopes right-handed pitcher Sean White has been activated from the disabled list today, June 29. The Los Angeles Dodgers selected the contract of right-handed reliever Jose Dominguez today. Dominguez will be making his Major League debut with the Dodgers.
Dominguez has allowed just one hit and no runs, while striking out 12 since making his Triple-A debut with Albuquerque earlier this month. As an Isotope, he holds a 1-0 record in eight appearances with a 0.00 ERA over 8.0 innings. The 22-year-old Dominican import fired a perfect frame with two strikeouts in his last outing on June 27 at Memphis.
Dominguez was signed by the Dodgers as a non-drafted free agent on July 2, 2007. Before joining the Isotopes this season on June 9, the right hander appeared in 14 games with Chattanooga and converted five of seven save opportunities, holding a 2.60 ERA (5 ER/17.1 IP).
White was placed on the disabled list retroactive to June 20. The Pullman, Washington native is 2-4 with a 3.46 ERA (16 ER/41.2 IP) in 13 appearances (seven starts) in 2013 with the Isotopes.
Game three of the Isotopes four-game series with the Memphis Redbirds is tonight. Memphis native Matt Palmer starts for the Isotopes. Carlos Martinez gets the ball for Memphis. First pitch will be at 5:05 MT and can be heard on 610 "The Sports Animal" with Josh Suchon on the call.
