Johnstown Chiefs News Release
Johnstown, PA- NASCAR Fever is coming to Johnstown this weekend. Daytona 500 champion Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s #8 Chevrolet Budweiser car will be on display at the Johnstown Chiefs versus Trenton Titans game Saturday night (February 21). Face-off is at 7:05 p.m.
Arguably, Earnhardt is NASCAR's most popular driver. Just last weekend, Earnhardt captured his first Daytona 500 for his ninth career victory.
The car will be on display in the new storage building adjacent to the arena from 5:30 p.m., until the end of the hockey game. Fans must purchase tickets to the game in order to view the car. Photos will be available. Also, the first 1,500 fans will receive a FREE Dale Earnhardt Jr. poster from Von's United Beverage.
The Chiefs are off until Saturday when they host Titans. Sunday afternoon, the Chiefs host the Dayton Bombers at 2:30 p.m. Following Sunday's game, there will be a "Skate With the Chiefs." Admission is free; however skate rentals will not be available. Tickets are still available at the War Memorial box office, or by calling (814) 536-5156 or 1-800-CHF-TIXX.
