Dylan Cozens got the Crosscutters on the board in the first inning when he doubled to deep centerfield. Andrew Knapp and Zach Green scored on the play to make it 2-0 Williamsport. For Cozens, it was his 13th double of the season and his 19th and 20th RBI.

Staten Island starter Caleb Smith allowed two runs both earned in four innings of work. Smith allowed three hits while striking out four Cutters. Smith took the loss.

Williamsport starter Drew Anderson worked five scoreless innings allowing just one hit. Anderson struck out five and walked two in the win. Drew Anderson has worked 19 consecutive scoreless innings.
