June 3, 2015 - International League (IL1)
Indianapolis Indians News Release

INDIANAPOLIS - Clayton Richard tossed 7 2-3 scoreless innings and AJ Morris completed the shutout, leading the Indianapolis Indians to a 3-0 victory and series win against the Buffalo Bisons on Wednesday afternoon at Victory Field.

With the rubber-game win, the Indians (32-22) have gone unbeaten in each of the last 11 home series' against the Bisons since 2005.

Richard (2-1) scattered eight singles with no walks during his longest outing of the year. He worked behind 10 groundball outs to efficiently navigate the Bisons lineup and extend his streak of no earned runs to 15 2-3 innings over his last three starts.

Morris inherited runners on first and third when he took the ball from Richard with two outs in the eighth, but induced a grounder from Buffalo's cleanup hitter to escape the jam unharmed. The Tribe reliever also worked a 1-2-3 ninth as part of his second save in as many opportunities.

Keon Broxton and Pedro Florimon combined for three hits and all three of Indianapolis' runs. Florimon led the offense with a home run and double.
