It's going to be a hot-diggity-dog good time at Fifth Third Field on Friday, July 10, as the Mud Hens are teaming up with iHeartRadio and the Blade to present the Create Your Own Hot Dog Challenge! Besides taking part in an all-you-can-eat hot dog feast, you will take part in a contest for a chance to have your unique hot dog recipe to be featured on the Fifth Third Field menu in 2016!
Hot Dog Challenge packages are $30 for adults, and $20 for children 3-12, which include a game ticket, an all-you-can-eat hot dog buffet, and a Suds and Weiners apron. If you already have a game ticket you can add the experience for $18.
The event will take place in the Home Run Terrace-Section 120 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. You'll create your own hot dog by starting with a classic hot dog-beef and pork, an all-beef hot dog or a natural casing hot dog and then getting creative with 50 different toppings to choose from:
Bacon, Baked Beans, Ballreich Potato Chips, Banana Peppers, BBQ Sauce, Bleu Cheese, Chili, Chocolate Frosting, Cole Slaw, Diced Chicken, Diced Red Onion, Diced Tomatoes, Diced White onion, Franks Red Hot Sauce, Frenches Onions, Gold Fish, Grilled Mushrooms, Grilled Onion, Guacamole, Gummy Worms,
Horseradish, Jalapenos, Ketchup, M&Ms, Macaroni, Macaroni and Cheese, Maraschino Cherries, Mustard Salad, Pepperoni, Pickle Spears, Pico de Gallo, Pizza Sauce, Pork Rinds, Pretzels, Ranch Dressing, Relish,
Salsa, Sauerkraut, Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, Sliced Tomatoes, Sour Cream, Sour Patch Kids, Spicy Mustard, Sprinkles, Sriracha Sauce, Strawberries, Tortilla Chips, Twizzlers, Vanilla Frosting.
After you create your hot dog recipe, enter it in our contest. The top five recipes selected by our culinary team will be subject to a vote by the fans at a later date. The winner will be featured on the menu at Fifth Third Field in 2016!
