
Countdown to Face-Off: Kalamazoo Wings vs Toledo Walleye

For the second time in a span of five days the Kalamazoo Wings will battle the Toledo Walleye. On the season, the K-Wings are 2-3-0-0 versus the Walleye, including a record of 2-1-0-0 at Wings Stadium. On Monday, Toledo defeated Kalamazoo 3-2 at the Huntington Center.
Tonight is the final game of a three-game home stand for the K-Wings. Despite losing in overtime last night to the Cincinnati Cyclones, Kalamazoo extended their home unbeaten streak in regulation to three games (2-0-1-0), which is a season-high for the team.
Toledo travels to Wings Stadium for their first road game in 2014. The Walleye have dropped three straight on the road; however, their last road victory occurred at Wings Stadium back on December 20th. On the season three of Toledo's victories this season have come against Kalamazoo.

Smashing Debut Defenseman Dustin Cloutier scored a goal on his first shot 36 seconds into his season debut last night for the K-Wings. The goal was the quickest scored this season to start a game for Kalamazoo.
Binnington Heads to the AHL
Earlier this morning, the reigning CCM Rookie of the Month in the ECHL, Jordan Binnington, was reassigned to the AHL's Chicago Wolves. In his absence Kalamazoo has signed Jordan Neamonitis as an emergency goaltender.
Mr. 300 Forward Aaron Clarke is closing in on a personal milestone. Clarke needs two more points to reach 300 in his career.

Kalamazoo has been finding ways to earn points at home. The K-Wings enter tonight looking to extend their season-high three-game (2-0-1-0) unbeaten streak in regulation.
