TONIGHT:

The Ontario Reign (22-5-1-3) will play the second of a two-game series in Las Vegas against the Wranglers (8-19-3-1) after a wild match-up on Friday night. The Reign outlasted the Wranglers with a final score of 6-5 in a physical battle highlighted by Kyle Kraemer's five goals - a Reign record, and just one shy of tying the ECHL record for goals in a single game. The two teams racked up the penalty minutes for a combine total of 23 infractions equaling 82 minutes. With all of those penalties, there were a number of power-play opportunities for both sides which the Reign and Wranglers made the most of scoring three and two power-play goals respectively.

WHAT A GAME!:

Friday night's game was arguably the most exciting Reign game this season. It had goal records, point records, fights, misconducts, a penalty shot, a four-goal deficit comeback, and a combined total of 11 goals. The Wranglers came back from a four-goal deficit in the third period and recorded the most goals-against seen in one frame when they scored four. Their last goal came with three seconds left on the clock bringing their final score within just one goal of the Reign.

KRAZY FOR KRAEMER:

Kyle Kraemer set a new Reign record for most goals in a single game with five tallies on the night to surpass C.J. Stretch's record of four goals in one night which he set in the 2012-13 season. Kraemer's five goals set a league record for the season and tied the league-high five points in a single game.

RACKING UP THE PIMS:

Las Vegas added 36 penalty minutes to their season total in Friday's game which has them as the second-most penalized team in the ECHL with an average of 20.38 penalty minutes per game. The Reign are unusually quiet in this area this season ranking seventh in the league with 17.67 penalty minutes per game. Ontario jumped a couple spots in this category by adding a season-high 46 penalty minutes on Friday.
