North Charleston, SC: The Road Warriors were shutout by goaltender David LeNeveu on Saturday night in a 3-0 loss to the South Carolina Stingrays.

Stingrays forward Peter Boyd began a great individual night just 3:39 into the game with the first of three goals. Former Road Warriors Steve Mele assisted on the goal after he created open space for Boyd to score his tenth of the year. The Road Warriors had two power play chances at the end of the period but could not convert.

The second period brought no scoring even with power play opportunities for both teams. LeNeveu made 18 saves on the night through two periods of play. Road Warriors' goaltender Scott Stajcer made 19 saves through two periods.

4:24 into the third period, South Carolina's power play found the back of the net with another goal from Boyd. The forward scored his second of the game on a one-timer shot that was assisted by Paul Rodrigues and Luka Vidmar. It was the first power play goal the Road Warriors allowed since December 8th. Boyd finished off the hat trick on an empty net goal with 48 seconds remaining. Jordie Johnston received a pass in the attacking zone but his stick broke to allow the empty net goal. LeNeveu made 28 saves in route to the shutout win.
