Carruth Reassigned to Toledo Walleye

(Toledo, OH) - Goaltender Mac Carruth has been reassigned to Toledo by the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL. Toledo has released goaltender Tony Tabisz.

Carruth started the season with Toledo, posting a 4-3-0 record with a 2.50 goals against average and a .927 save percentage. The native of Shorewood, Minnesota, appeared in seven games in Rockford with a 2-2-1 record, a 3.36 GAA and .880 SVP.

The 21-year-old goaltender posted a record of 30-7-2 last year with Portland with a 2.06 GAA and .929 SVP. A seventh pick of Chicago in the 2010 NHL Draft, Carruth won 117 games for the Winterhawks over the last four seasons and helped Portland win the WHL title last year. He holds a Winterhawks record 30 post season wins.
