Coreau to Toledo; Lerg off to Grand Rapids

(Toledo, OH) -Goaltender Jared Coreau has been reassigned to Toledo by the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL. Goaltender Jeff Lerg has been loaned by the Walleye to Grand Rapids.

Coreau has not appeared in a game for the Griffins but has a 3-1-0 record with Toledo. The native of Perth, Ontario has a 2.67 GAA and a .900 SVP for the Walleye this year. He made 10 saves on 13 Cincinnati shooters this past Sunday to pick up his third win.

Lerg is off to a strong start for the Walleye posting a 4-1-0 record. He leads the ECHL in goals against average at 1.61 and also in save percentage (.940). The Livonia, Michigan native has won four straight starts and has not allowed more than two goals in any start.

The Walleye host Orlando tonight at the Huntington Center and the Griffins are home tonight for the Texas Stars.
