EVANSVILLE, Ind.- The Evansville IceMen, presented by Coors Light, have signed Forward Tom Hartnett. A rookie out of Wesleyan University, Hartnett attended camp with the Albany Devils of the AHL alongside IceMen teammate Myles Bell.
Hailing Brookville, N.Y., Hartnett scored 30 goals in his four years at Wesleyan. He was named an Assistant Captain in his senior year.
Hartnett had his best collegiate season in 2012-13 when he scored 10 goals and recorded 12 assists. The forward will not play in the IceMen's game tonight against Elmira as he was placed on reserve.
Following their two game trip to Elmira, the IceMen will return to the Ford Center to take on the Greenville Road Warriors on Wednesday, Nov. 19. The IceMen will also celebrate the career of Assistant Coach and IceMen legend Josh Beaulieu as they hold a retirement party in his honor.
