Corbeil selected to ECHL All-Star Game
December 31, 2005 - ECHL (ECHL)
Augusta Lynx News Release
The Augusta Lynx are proud to announce today that team leading scorer Nicolas Corbeil has been selected to the ECHL American Conference All-Star squad.
Corbeil, 22, is honored with his second consecutive selection to the ECHL All-Star Team, being selected to represent the Mississippi Sea Wolves last season. The Hull, PQ native leads the Lynx in scoring this season with 13 goals and 32 points through 28 games, and is fresh off an ECHL season-high 13 game scoring streak which also set an Augusta Lynx team record.
"Nicolas is a very talented offensive player," said Lynx head coach Bob Ferguson. "He has demonstrated the ability to make a tremendous difference in a game, and we're happy to have him represent our team at the All-Star Game."
Held in Fresno this year, the ECHL All-Star Game is presented by Bud Light and will take place on January 25th at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California.
