San Diego Gulls News Release
BOISE, Idaho - The ECHL announced Saturday that San Diego Gulls rookie right-winger Jesse Bennefield has been named to the National Conference All-Star Team. The 2006 ECHL All-Star Game, presented by Bud Light, is scheduled for Jan. 25 at Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif.
Bennefield is among 10 rookies and 15 first-time all-star selections on the National Conference Roster, which has 21 players total. The American Conference roster, which was announced Friday, has 11 rookies and 18 first-time selections on its 21-man roster.
