
Bertoli named starter on American Conference All-Star Team

TRENTON, NJ (December 31, 2005) - The Trenton Titans announced on Saturday that left wing Scott Bertoli has been selected to the starting line-up of the American Conference All-Star Team at the 2006 ECHL All-Star Game presented by Bud Light on January 25 at Save Mart Center in Fresno, California.
Bertoli, 28, receives his second selection during his seven-year career, having also been named a starter for the Northern Conference All-Star squad in 2001. The Milton, Ontario native has spent all but four of his 412 professional games with the Trenton Titans and is the team's all-time leader in games played (408), goals (141), assists (267) and points (406).
A graduate of Princeton University, Bertoli leads the Titans this season with 10 goals, 17 assists and 27 points in 29 games.
The starting lineups were determined in voting by American Conference coaches, team captains, media directors, broadcasters and newspaper writers. Coaches also submitted the top prospects from within their conference to determine the final roster with each of the 14 teams in the American Conference having a representative.

The Trenton Titans are a member of the ECHL - North America's Premier "AA" Hockey League. The Trenton Titans are the ECHL affiliate to the Philadelphia Flyers and Philadelphia Phantoms and the New York Islanders and Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
