
"Cool Fun 101" This Wednesday Morning

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, will finish a three-game homestand when they host the Hershey Bears this Wednesday, December 7th at 11 a.m. in the third-annual, educationally-themed "Cool Fun 101" morning game.
Wednesday's event will be filled with fun and interactive exercises that relate real-life applications of math, science, geography, spelling and more to the sport of hockey. All students who attend will receive a special workbook with a variety of educational exercises modeled after the Connecticut Mastery Tests. There will also be a contest in which students can submit an essay about their experience to soundtigers.com for the opportunity to become a special reporter for a future Sound Tigers home game.
A discounted ticket price of $6 for students, with free tickets for chaperones, is available for groups that purchase in-advance. Information about this Wednesday's "Cool Fun 101" morning game, as well as all Sound Tigers events and ticket packages is available by calling 203-334-GOAL.
