Smith reassigned by Edmonton

Hamilton Bulldogs News Release


The Edmonton Oilers announced today that they have reassigned defenseman Dan Smith to the Hamilton Bulldogs. Smith, 29, was recalled by Edmonton on December 1, and did not see any action with the Oilers. The native of Fernie B.C. has appeared in 15 games for the Bulldogs this season, earning two assists and 15 penalty minutes. Smith has also appeared in seven games with the Oilers this season recording no points and seven penalty minutes.

The Bulldogs next game will take place on Wednesday, December 7, when they travel to Grand Rapids to face the Griffins. Game time is 7:00 p.m.

The Bulldogs next home game will take place on Friday, December 9, when they face the Syracuse Crunch at Copps Coliseum. Game time is 7:30 p.m. This game can be seen live on Hamilton's Cable 14.
