December 5, 2005 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Abbotsford Heat News Release
Omaha, NE - The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights are making their games more affordable to families and students by introducing a new ticket price. Beginning with the game on Saturday, December 10th against the San Antonio Rampage, tickets for children twelve years old and under will be just $10 for every seat in the Omaha Civic Auditorium. That price will also apply to any fan with a middle school, high school or college ID.
"The Ak-Sar-Ben Knights provide great family entertainment, and our new children's and students' ticket price will ensure that even more people can enjoy the excitement of a Knights' game," said Doug Soetaert, the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights' President. "Families and students can now save anywhere from $3 to $22 on each ticket they purchase."
The discount is greatest for those fans who want to sit on the glass where the savings on each child/student ticket will be more than 68%, down from $32. Fans will save $17 per ticket in the first balcony, $11.50 in the second balcony and either $3 or $7 in the third balcony. Tickets in all seating areas are subject to availability.
In addition, the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights have revised their group ticket pricing. Groups of 15 or more can now purchase tickets in the second and third balconies for $10 each, a savings of 50% off the original price. Group tickets "On The Glass", in the Riser section and in the First Balcony are available at $20 a piece.
Tickets for all of the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights' regular season home games are on sale now at the Civic box office weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased by phone through Ticketmaster at 422-1212 and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
