TONIGHT

The Bakersfield Condors host the Ontario Reign for the first of two on the weekend. The teams have not met for the better part of the last two months, but will see each other for the next four straight when the series wraps up in Ontario next week. After winning five of the first six games in the series, the Condors have dropped the last four to Ontario. However, they still own a 5-4-0-1 record against the Reign this season. The two teams also meet Saturday night at Rabobank Arena.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

The Condors opened the scoring on Tuesday night, but Alaska scored the next six in just over seven minutes of game time and cruised to an 8-4 win. F Andrew Radjenovic (1g-1a) and C Ryan Watson (0g-2a) each had multi-point nights for Bakersfield. LW Sebastien Sylvestre picked up his team-leaing 21st goal on the night.

Ontario has won six of their last seven, including a 7-3 throttling of Stockton on Wednesday night at Citizens Business Bank Arena. F Gasper Kopitar and F Judd Blackwater each scored twice, while C Matt White dished out three assists. G Jussi Olkinuora picked up his 21st win of the season, making 19 saves on 22 shots.

CONDORS NOTES

The Condors are the least penalized team in the Pacific Division at 14.58 PIMs/game... LW Sebastien Sylvestre is the sixth rookie in Condors history to hit the 20-goal plateau. The last was C Robby Dee in 2011-12, while F Mark Derlago scored 39, most in team history for a rookie, in 2007-08... The Condors have used 8 goalies this season, the most in team history. In 1998-99 they used six goaltenders, the previous record.
