Thunder Score Two Power-Play Goals in Loss

March 27, 2015 - ECHL (ECHL)
Stockton Thunder News Release

Stockton, Calif. - Stockton Thunder forward Alex Mallet impresses again in his second game off the injured reserve, scoring his second goal in as many games, and Tyler Shattock continues his hot run with a power-play goal in the second period, but the Thunder come out on the short end of a 10-2 score to the Alaska Aces. The Thunder simply could not recover from three rough bounces to start the contest that gave the Aces an early lead and the home team falls in a one-sided affair. There was also two heavyweight battles between Garet Hunt and Justin Johnson that entertained the home crowd tonight. The two teams will meet up once again Saturday night, as the Thunder look to put this game behind them and start out with a clean slate in the second game of this weekend's three-in-three with Alaska.
