TONIGHT
The Condors host the Colorado Eagles for the first of two games on the weekend which will conclude a four-game, two-week homestand for Bakersfield. Colorado leads the season series with a record of 3-1-0-0 against the Condors, including victories in the last three meetings. It is the third time the teams will meet in Bakersfield with four more yet to come at Rabobank Arena. The teams will meet a total of six more times after tonight's action. Bakersfield won the first-ever meeting between the two sides back on Oct. 15 by a 3-1 margin.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Bakersfield has had five days off since a 0-1-0-1 weekend against the Stockton Thunder at Rabobank Arena last weekend. After being blanked, 1-0, on Fri. Jan. 6, the Condors responded with another strong performance on Saturday, ultimately falling in a shootout, 3-2. RW Tyler Helfrich and F Hans Benson each netted goals for the Condors, who became the last ECHL team this season to have a game reach a shootout.
Colorado had the ECHL's leading scorer, Chad Costello, return from the AHL on Wednesday evening and he proceeded to net a hat trick as the Eagles cruised to a 5-1 home victory over Utah. Costello added an assist as well which gave him a four point night in his return to Loveland. The Eagles are 6-3-0-1 in their last 10 games.
CONDORS NOTES
The Condors will be without the services of G Matt Keetley who was loaned to the Syracuse Crunch (AHL) on Thursday...G Bryan Pitton gets the start tonight in the 99th game of his professional career...RW Tyler Helfrich has a point in six of his last eight games (3g-6a)...With the addition of D Josh Van Dyk last week, six of the Condors top nine scorers are rookies, including the top two (Freeman, Dee).
EAGLES NOTES

RW Alex Penner leads the ECHL with 152 penalty minutes... D Aaron Schneekloth leads the ECHL with 17 power-play points.
