CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors (9-24-3-1, 22pts) used a three-goal second period to take down the Colorado Eagles (20-12-0-4, 32pts) 4-2 in front of 4,513 at Rabobank Arena Friday night.

The visitors scored on their first shot of the game to take a 1-0 lead just 101 seconds into the contest. The Condors shook it off however, and were undaunted by a 13-5 Colorado shot lead. They tied it up at 14:13 of the first, with F Casey Pierro-Zabotel redirecting a wr ist shot home to make it 1-1. G Bryan Pitton got the nod for the Condors and Colorado countered with G Andrew Penner.

Bakersfield busted the game wide open with three straight in the middle stanza. D Alain Goulet, playing as a forward tonight, scored twice to lead the attack. F Robby Dee scored with a wrister on a delayed penalty call as well. Colorado sustained life with a late goal when a pass deflected in off a Condors stick to make it 4-2 Bakersfield. Shots were 14-11 in favor of the home team.

Pitton and the Condors 'D' held down the fort in the third. Pitton finished the night with 29 saves, and neither team got on the board as Bakersfield took the 4-2 win.
