Comets Add Brett Lyon

Utica Comets Director of Hockey Operations, Pat Conacher, announced today that the team has signed forward Brett Lyon to a professional tryout contract (PTO).

Lyon, 22, has played in one game for the Abbotsford Heat this year, and recorded 11 penalty minutes. This season he has played seven games in the ECHL, four with the Bakersfield Condors, and three with the Fort Wayne Komets, where he has recorded zero points and 37 combined penalty minutes.

The Grand Forks, BC native has recorded 10 points (5-5-10) and 255 penalty minutes, in 64 ECHL games for the Orlando Solar Bears, Bakersfield Condors, and Fort Way Komets.
