Springfield Falcons News Release
Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons announced Friday that defenseman Tim Erixon has been returned on loan by the Columbus Blue Jackets, the team's NHL affiliate.
In only 10 games with the Falcons this season, Erixon is tied for the team lead with 13 points (three goals, 10 assists). Five of his points have come on the power play, scoring two goals and chipping in three assists on the man advantage.
The 6-foot-3, 199-pound defenseman has appeared in one game with the Blue jackets this season, recording one shot and a +1 rating.
The Falcons look to keep the current six-game winning streak going with two games this weekend - Friday, November 29 at the Manchester Monarchs and Saturday, November 30 versus the Portland Pirates at the MassMutual Center. The puck drop for Saturday's game is set for 7:00 p.m.
Fans are invited to the MassMutual Center in 2013-14 to watch the reigning Northeast Division-champion Falcons compete in their 20th anniversary season.
