
Cheverie Rejoins Cyclones, Marchant Deal to Augusta for Bennett

Cincinnati, OH-Cyclones General Manager/Head Coach Chris Cichocki announced today that the team has acquired forward Even Cheverie and dealt Terry Marchant to the Augusta Lynx in exchange for Josh Bennett.
Cheverie spent ast season with the Cyclones recording 18 goals and 31 assists for 49 points in 56 games. Cheverie rejoins Cincinnati after beginning the year with the United League's Columbus Stars. Upon the Stars folding, Cheverie joined the American League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers. With the S-Tigers, Cheverie had three goals and no assists in 12 games. Cheverie is in his second pro season and will play his 100th career game tonight when the Cyclones take on the Dayton Bombers at U.S. Bank Arena.
The Cyclones dealt Marchant to the Augusta Lynx in exchange for left winger Josh Bennett. Marchant was tied for the team lead in scoring with 16 goals and 21 assists for 37 points in 45 games. Bennett joins Cincinnati after playing 37 games this year in Augusta. He recorded seven goals and eight assists for 15 points with 137 penalty minutes. Bennett has played 74 professional games and has 299 career penalty minutes. Bennett will make his Cyclones debut this weekend at U.S. Bank Arena.
The Cyclones are at home five times in the next week.
· The action kicks off tonight as Cincinnati battles Dayton at 7:30 p.m.
· On Friday, the Cyclones meet the Toledo Storm. It's pack the house night with all tickets available for $5. $1 beers will also be available.
· Saturday's night match-up with the Wheeling Nailers is Beach Party Night. $1 beers will again be featured as the Cyclones meet the Northern Division' s best team at 7:30 p.m.
· Sunday afternoon, the Cyclones play their final matinee of the season. The Johnstown Chiefs are in town for the 3:00 p.m. start. SpongeBob SquarePants will be on hand to entertain fans of all ages.
· The Cyclones wrap up the homestand on Tuesday vs. the Peoria Rivermen. Game time on Tuesday is set for 7:30 p.m. as the Cyclones meet the R-Men for the 12th time this season.
NASCAR Night is coming up February 18th featuring an appearance by Winston Cup Champion Matt Kenseth.
