Toledo Releases Two

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today that they have released forward Russell Spence and goaltender Scott Kabotoff.

Spence came to Toledo on January 3rd in a deal with the Columbus Cottonmouths of the ECHL. Russell appeared in 11 games with Toledo and did not register a point. Spence had 1 goal in 23 games with the Cottonmouths earlier this season.

Kabotoff was signed by the Storm on December 20th to back up goaltender Doug Teskey. Scott appeared in 3 games during his time with Toledo. Scott was 0-1-0 with 4.56 goals against average and a .822 save percentage with the Storm. Kabatoff has also spent time with Peoria and Greenville of the ECHL this season.
