LOUISVILLE, KEN. - For the second straight game, the Omaha Storm Chasers rallied from behind in the seventh inning but lost on a walk off in the ninth inning for the second straight night, falling to the Louisville Bats 5-4.

Starting pitcher Max Castillo worked through 5.0 innings and tied a season-high with eight strikeouts, while holding the Bats to just one walk. He allowed an unearned run in the second on a pair of errors, then three in the third on an RBI double and two-run homer.

Omaha gave Castillo just one run of support, as Nick Loftin drew a bases-loaded walk in the third inning, then a double play promptly ended the inning and killed the rally on the very next pitch.

At the time the walk to Loftin tied the game at one, then the Bats struck for three runs and Louisville remained ahead by three into the seventh inning, when the Storm Chasers rallied to tie the game back up.

Walks to Tyler Gentry and CJ Alexander then a single by Adeiny Hechavarria loaded the bases with one out, then Angelo Castellano singled in Gentry and Alexander to bring the deficit to just one run. John Rave promptly brought Hechavarria home from third on a sacrifice fly to tie the score at 1-1, but Omaha managed just one baserunner the rest of the way.

Jonah Dipoto pitched 2.0 scoreless innings behind Castillo, as he retired six of seven batters. Steven Cruz threw a 1-2-3 eighth inning and while Gentry drew a walk in the top of the ninth, the game headed to the bottom of the ninth tied 4-4.

Christian Chamberlain got a quick out to open the ninth but put a pair of baserunners on. With runners on first and second, Nate Eaton kept the game tied at one as he threw out the potential game-winning run at home plate on a single. Chamberlain issued an intentional walk to create a force at any base with two outs, but hit Nick Martini with a pitch to end the game, a 5-4 loss for Omaha and the team's second straight walk-off loss to Louisville.

Omaha now has nine walk-off losses in 22 road losses this season to six different teams, with six different plays ending the games.

Back to a .500 record, at 50-50, Omaha will try and bounce back Thursday at 5:35 p.m. in Lousiville.
