LOUISVILLE, KY - In a back-and-forth game, the Louisville Bats notched their second consecutive walkoff over the Omaha Storm Chasers with a 5-4 win in game two of the six game series on Wednesday night.

In the win, Alejo Lopez continued his on-game streak - now sitting at 33 games.

After a quiet first inning, the Bats scored the first run of the game in the bottom of the second after TJ Hopkins drew a walk and then scored from first on two field errors.

The Storm Chasers added a run in the top of the third to tie up the ball game 1-1.

Louisville came back in the bottom of the third to take over the lead after Alejo Lopez got to first on a hit by pitch, followed by a Nick Martini double RBI to get Lopez across home plate. In the next at bat Henry Ramos smashed a 420 ft home run, making that eight so far this season, to extend the Bats lead to 4-1.

Brett Kennedy left the mound after five innings after only giving up one earned run on two hits, seven strikeouts and three walks.

Omaha fought back and added three runs to even out the game to 4-4.

Alan Busentitz, the Bats saves leader with eight, earned the win after entering in the top of the ninth and kept the Storm Chasers off the board.

Jose Barrero got bottom of the ninth started with a double to short right field, followed by an intentional walk from Chuckie Robinson. Micheal Siani singled on a ball deep to right center, but Barrero was thrown out at home on the throw while Robinson advanced to third.

Bases were loaded after Lopez drew another intentional walk, and after a hit by pitch from Martini, Robinson scored the winning run.

The Louisville Bats will continue the six-game series against the Omaha Storm Chasers tomorrow evening. The first pitch is scheduled for Thursday, August 3rd, 6:35 pm E.T at Louisville Slugger Field.
