
Campbell Returns; Kashirsky And Tarkir Jump To AHL

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach Cail MacLean announced today that forward Trent Campbell has returned to the team from the Houston Aeros of the AHL. The Stingrays also announced that forward Nikita Kashirsky and defenseman Zach Tarkir have been recalled to the Manitoba Moose and the Springfield Falcons of the Ameircan Hockey League.
Campbell, 27, skated in three games with the Aeros scoring one assist. The Beauval, SK native has nine goals and 24 assists in 31 games with Stingrays. Campbell also appeared in three games with the Worchester Sharks of the AHL earlier this season earning one goal and two penalty minutes.
Kashirsky, 24, has 17 goals and 14 assists in 36 games with the Stingrays. A 2010 ECHL All-Star, Kashirsky ranks ninth among ECHL rookies with 31 points. The Moscow, Russia native dressed in nine games with the Falcons earlier this season scoring one goal and two assists for three points. Kashirsky is expected to be in the lineup for the Moose tonight against the Hershey Bears.
Tarkir, 25, has four goals and 13 assists for 16 points in 29 games with the Stingrays. The 2010 ECHL All-Star also competed in five games with the Lake Erie Monsters scoring no points and two penalty minutes.
