Jackals Announce Roster Changes Heading Into Weekend

The Elmira Jackals announced a pair of roster changes entering into their series on the road against the Toledo Walleye. Goaltender Andy Chiodo has been reassigned by the Jackals' NHL affiliate, the Ottawa Senators, to their AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. The Jackals also placed winger Mike Sgroi on waivers.

Chiodo played in one period for the Jackals before having to leave the game on Jan. 8 against Florida due to an injury.

Sgroi had a goal and four assists in 11 games with the Jackals.

The Jackals take on the Walleye at 7:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Lucas County Arena in Toledo, Ohio.

After this weekend, the Jackals return home for a hat trick weekend of hockey, as the Jackals host the Gwinnett Gladiators on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 29 and 31 at 7:35 p.m., and the Walleye on Sunday, Jan. 31 at 4:05 p.m.
