Junior Gladiators Travel Inline Hockey Program
January 22, 2010 - ECHL (ECHL)
Atlanta Gladiators News Release
The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that they have entered into a Marketing and Youth Sports development project agreement with the South Gwinnett Athletic Association (SGAA) to help form the "Junior Gladiators" Travel Inline Hockey Program.
This sports program is designed specifically for the Junior Gladiators and will include teaching our young athletes important lifelong lessons associated with hockey and organized sports in particular. These lifelong lessons include working within a sports team, the importance of teamwork, building of self-confidence through an organized sporting event, volunteering and participation in the local Community, and finally to create a mindset of determination regardless of the odds.
The program will also be dedicated to promoting an active and healthy lifestyle to the young athlete, and along the way build a fan relationship with hockey that lasts a lifetime.
The program will be forming teams for the following Age Divisions: Atom 8U (boys and girls, ages 8 & under), Mite 10U (boys and girls, ages 10 & under), Squirt 12U (boys and girls, ages 12 & under), Pee Wee 14U (boys and girls, ages 14 & under), Bantam 16U (boys and girls, ages 16 & under), and Midget 18U (boys and girls, ages 18 & under).
The Program is currently recruiting Head Coaches and Players. More detailed information can be found on the program's website at http://www.jrgladiators.com.
