Papillion, NE - Isan Diaz delivered three hits and two RBI to deliver the 'Cakes a come from behind 6-3 win in the series opener in Nebraska.

Omaha scored an unearned run in the third to open the scoring. The 'Cakes immediately answered with a run in the fourth on a single from Austin Dean and a two out RBI from Deven Marrero. Omaha catcher Nate Esposito hit his first home run in three years with a two run shot in the fifth inning.

New Orleans answered with two in the sixth to tie the game. Diaz and Marrero each with RBI singles. In the seventh Eddy Alvarez extended his hit streak to eleven games and scored on a Diaz base hit. The lights when out for 19 minutes but after the power was restored, Peter O'Brien delivered a two run home run in the eighth inning for insurance.

Parker Bugg earns the win in relief and RJ Alvarez pitched two scoreless for the save.

The 'Cakes are 52-43 on the season 7 games back of first place San Antonio.

GAME NOTES- New Orleans activated outfielder Isaac Galloway from the injured list, he has been sidelined since May 30th. The game had a pair of delays due to the lights, in the fifth inning the game was delayed for four minutes and then in the eighth the lights shutoff and the game was delayed for an additional 19 minutes.
