OKLAHOMA CITY - Joe Gunkel worked six innings and earned his eighth win of the season, allowing one run on seven hits. The Baby Cakes defeated the Dodgers 6-1 in the first game of the series.

Magneuris Sierra stole four bases, reached base four times and scored a run and drove in a run for New Orleans. The 'Cakes took a 2-1 lead in the third inning and added four more runs to extend lead to 6-1.

The 'Cakes improved to 71-64 on the season.

GAME NOTES- Sierra's four stolen bases, sets a new franchise record for most in a game. Pitcher Joe Gunkel had a pair of hits, first New Orleans pitcher with a multi-hit game since 2014 season. New Orleans clinched its first winning record since 2012, and only its second since 2007.
