Boston Bruins Return Jurcina

Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins, member of the American Hockey League, announced that the Boston Bruins have returned from loan defenseman Milan Jurcina. He will be with Providence Friday night when they take on the Portland Pirates.

Jurcina, 22, is making his second stint with the P-Bruins this season. In five games with Providence, the Liptovsy-Mikulas, Slovakia native has two assists and six PIM. Jurcina began the season with Boston playing in nine games and recording one assist and 18 PIM with a +1 rating. Jurcina spent the past two seasons in Providence where in 153 games, the defenseman had 42 points (11g, 31a) and 152 PIM. He was drafted by Boston with their seventh pick (eighth round), 241st overall, in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
