The Hamilton Bulldogs (7-12-0-1) look to end a five-game losing streak tonight when they face the Cleveland Barons (7-10-1-0) for the third time this season at Copps Coliseum. The Bulldogs are currently tied with Cleveland for sixth position in the North Division with 15 points, one point behind the Toronto Marlies (8-9-0-0). The teams have split the season series so far in 2005-06, with each team winning one game. The next meeting between Hamilton and Cleveland will take place on Thursday, December 22, in Cleveland (7:05 p.m.).
BULLDOGS NOTES
à The Bulldogs accumulated a season-high 70 penalty minutes in their last game, a 4-2 loss to the Chicago Wolves on Wednesday, November 23. The 70 minutes in penalties were 11 more than the team had amassed in its previous four games combined.
à C Marc-Antoine Pouilot's goal on Wednesday was his first marker in his last 13 games. Prior to that goal, Pouliot last scored on October 28 at Syracuse (7-6 W), when he potted the game-winner with nine seconds left.
à Also on Wednesday, RW Duncan Milroy collected his first assist in his last nine games.
à C Francis Lemieux leads the team in scoring over the Bulldogs last 10 games with 2g-5a-7pts in 9 games.
à C Corey Locke has three goals in two games against the Barons this season.
