The Atlanta Thrashers have assigned goaltender JANI HURME (YAN-ee HOOR-meh) to the Chicago Wolves.

The 30-year-old netminder has posted a 29-25-11 mark with a 2.61 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage in 76 National Hockey League appearances with the Ottawa Senators (1999-2002) and Florida Panthers (2002-03).

HURME back-stopped the Grand Rapids Griffins to the International Hockey League's 2000 Turner Cup Finals, before losing to the Wolves, 4-games-to-2.
