Hamilton, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs lost a 6-5 decision to the Cleveland Barons on Friday night in front of 5,681 fans at Copps Coliseum. The Cleveland Barons opened the scoring just 2:47 into the first period while on the power play. With Hamilton two men short, Murray's shot hit the post and lay behind Bulldogs goaltender Cristobal Huet and Ryane Clowe shot in the loose puck for his first goal of the season.

Cleveland's Shane Joseph tied the game at 4-4 when he bounced the rebound from a Josh Hennessy shot off Huet's pad and into the net. The goal came at 7:40 of the third period.

Michael Lambert's power play goal at 10:20 of the third period gave the Bulldogs a brief 5-4 lead. Cleveland tied the game just 1:01 later when Patrick Rissmiller tipped in a DiLauro shot from the point.

Murray's shot from the slot at 13:54 of the third was the eventual game winner. Murray took a pass from Bernier and one-timed a slap shot off the post and into the left of Huet. It was Murray's first goal of the season.
