Bakersfield Condors News Release
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors Professional Hockey Club announced that Alexandre Bolduc has been re-assigned to Bakersfield by the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League. Manitoba is the AHL affiliate of the NHL's Vancouver Canucks.
Bolduc appeared in 32 games with the Moose this season where notched four goals and five assists for nine points and 35 penalty minutes. On Feb. 23, the Montreal native set new career pro highs when he scored two goals and added two assists in an 8-3 victory at Rochester.
Bolduc started the season with the Condors and has gone up and back to Manitoba three times. In eight games with the Condors, Bolduc has recorded five goals and 10 assists and helped the team to a 5-2-1 record over that span.
Last season, the 6-foot-2, 200-pound center tallied 16 points (10g, 6a) during 24 regular season games and added eight points (4g, 4a) in 11 playoff games, helping Bakersfield advance to the Pacific Division Finals. He was selected to the 2006 ECHL All- Star Team, but was re-called by Manitoba and didn't play. Bolduc was a fourth round selection of the St. Louis Blues in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
The Condors continue their nine-game road trip tonight and Saturday in Utah for their final two games against the Grizzlies this season. Both games have a 6:05 p.m. (PST) start time.
The team returns to The Nest on March 17th for a game against the Stockton Thunder, as Bright House Networks, 101.5 KGFM and American Business Machines present SpongeBob Squarepants and the St. Patrick's Day Jersey Raffle and Auction. SpongeBob will be live and in person to entertain the crowd, plus five lucky fans will win special game-worn St. Patrick's Day jerseys, with proceeds from the auction donated to Kern Adult Literacy Council.
