Game two of a three-game series
LAST GAME vs Stockton: Game one of the series on Wednesday was decided in the last half of the game, as both goaltenders Julien Ellis and Cam Ellsworth came to play.
Ellis, in his 11th consecutive start, made 16 saves in the scoreless first period and both squads had three powerplay opportunities.
The score was deadlocked until with 3:56 remaining in the middle frame, Kiel McLeod gave Victoria the 1-0 lead in a Salmon Kings powerplay. Stockton countered with a powerplay goal from Mathieu Melanson just 1:18 into the period, and Ellsworth made 13 saves to force the overtime.
In their third overtime battle of the season, Stockton handed Victoria its first overtime loss as Melanson nabbed a loose puck and finished a breakaway with his second goal of the match.

Milestones and records: Wes Goldie captured the Salmon Kings all-time leading scorer title (58 points) on Wednesday with an assist...Paul Ballantyne played in his 200th ECHL game on Wednesday...
