
Ice Pilots begin a short two-game road trip tonight against Florida

FT. MYERS, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots begin a short two-game road trip tonight (Friday) when they take on their state rivals the Florida Everblades at Germain Arena at 6:30 pm central, 7:30 pm eastern time.
It's the eighth meeting of the season between the two teams, and with the exception of one game, the others have been decided by two goals or less. The Ice Pilots have two wins against the Everblades, including one at Germain Arena.
Rob Rankin leads all Ice Pilots in scoring against the Everblades with four goals and three assists for seven points, Sergei Ogorodnikov and Dan Sullivan each have four points. Goaltender Michael Mole has both wins over Florida.
Forward Brent McDonald leads the Everblades in scoring against the Ice Pilots with nine points, while Vince Bellissimo has eight.
The Ice Pilots are 1-3-0-1 in their last five road games but are coming off a 7-2 romp over the South Carolina Stingrays in their last game at The Hangar where Rob Rankin netted his first professional hattrick.
