
Belzile, Bourke Reassigned to Fort Wayne

Fort Wayne, IN - The Komets announced Friday that forwards Alex Belzile and Troy Bourke have been reassigned from the AHL's San Antonio Rampage to Fort Wayne.
Belzile (bell-ZEEL), 24, has appeared previously this season in 17 Fort Wayne games scoring five goals and 20 points. Prior to his last call-up to the Rampage on Jan. 5, the St-Eloi, Quebec native was riding a six-game home point-scoring streak (2g, 11a) with the Komets after scoring a goal and passing two assists in a 5-2 win Jan. 15 against Orlando. Belzile skated nine games during his last stay with San Antonio scoring two goals and three points.
Bourke (BURK), 21, has logged 39 games this season with the Rampage scoring two goals and eight points. Last season the Colorado Avalanche prospect appeared in his first full AHL season with Lake Erie and scored nine goals and 22 points in 61 games. During 2013-14 Bourke capped his WHL career with Prince George dishing a team high 56 assists and ranked second on the cougars with 85 points while serving as captain. The left wing finished his junior career as Prince George's all-time leader in points (236) and assists (152) before making his AHL debut with Lake Erie scoring three goals and seven points in 15 games.
Mallards visit Saturday-- The Komets (26-14-2, 54 points) will host the Quad City Mallards (20-19-5, 45 points) Saturday at 7:30pm. The Mallards will making their first of four appearances in Fort Wayne this season. The Komets have made all three of their scheduled visits to Quad City this year going 1-2-0. The division rival Mallards trail the first-place Komets by nine points and host Rapid City Friday night before making the trip to Fort Wayne Saturday.
Report Card Night Saturday--The Komets present their second PHP Report Card Night of the year this Saturday when the Quad City Mallards visit. Students with an "A" or "A Equivalent" on their most recent report card earn a free ticket and a chance to win a $1,000 U.S. Savings Bond for future education. Students can take their report card or a letter from their teacher showing an "A" or an "A equivalent" to the Coliseum Ticket Office between now and game night.
