Beast Add Winger Henry Ahead of Game against Stingrays

BRAMPTON, ONTARIO - The Brampton Beast, ECHL affiliate of the St. John's IceCaps and Montreal Canadiens, announce today that former University of Regina assistant captain and current Southern Professional Hockey League rookie Tyler Henry has signed a Standard Player Contract with the Beast and will join the club this weekend ahead of a pair of games against the South Carolina Stingrays and Atlanta Gladiators.

The 26-year-old winger from Balgonie, Saskatchewan has 10 points (6G, 4A) in 21 games this season with the Columbus Cottonmouths of the SPHL.

The winger played the last four seasons in the CIS with the University of Regina. Between 2011-12 and 2014-15 seasons, Henry has tallied 21 goals and 36 assists for a total of 57 points in 92 games played. In both the 2012-13 and 2014-15 seasons with the University of Regina, Henry wore an 'A' on his sweater as the club's assistant captain.

The Beast are in Charleston, South Carolina to face the South Carolina Stingrays on Friday, February 5 at 7:05 PM and will head to Georgia to face the Atlanta Gladiators on Saturday, February 6 at 7:05 PM. The Beast will then head back to Brampton to host the Toledo Walleye on Friday, February 12 at 7:15 PM. Single game tickets are now available, starting at $16.25.
