Bears going green as Hartford surfaces at GIANT Center

March 17, 2004 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Hershey Bears News Release

The BEARS will wear green jerseys tonight as the club hosts the Hartford Wolfpack for St. Patrick's Day . The sweaters will be auctioned off after the game this evening, with proceeds going to local charities.

On the ice, HERSHEY will try to claw back towards third place in the East Division. With a Wilkes-Barre/Scranton win Tuesday night in Philadelphia, the BEARS are three points out of third place and one point away from fourth place. HERSHEY is also just one point ahead of sixth place Binghamton in the East. Phil Sauve is expected to draw his third straight start for the BEARS since being assigned last week by the Colorado Avalanche. Paul Fixter's club will have to live without the services of Travis Brigley for tonight's game. Brigley was recalled yesterday by Colorado and played last night for the Avs at the Bell Center in Montreal against the Canadiens.

Tonight's game can be heard on WSJW 92.7 FM. John Walton calls the action beginning with the pre-game show at 7:10 p.m.
