Ducks fall to Wolves, 5-1

ROSEMONT, IL -- Stephen Baby scored two goals and Brendan Yarema had a goal and an assist to lead the Chicago Wolves to a 5-1 victory over the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks Wednesday at Allstate Arena.

Tommi Santala and Derek MacKenzie also scored for the Wolves, who have won three straight games and four of their last five.

Frederic Cassivi stopped 30 shots in the win for Chicago, which won has won three in a row and five of its last six games against Cincinnati.

Casey Hankinson scored the lone goal in the third period for the Ducks, who fell to 2-9-1-0 in their last 12 games.

Eddy Ferhi finished with 32 saves in the loss for Cincinnati, which has been held to just five goals in its last four games.

The Ducks begin a three-game home stand Friday when they face Cleveland at 7:35 p.m. at Cincinnati Gardens.
