Cleveland Barons Hockey Show To Air On WKNR

CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Barons will host the "Cleveland Barons Hockey Show", a weekly one-hour radio talk format show, on WKNR 850-am beginning Monday, March 22nd. The "Cleveland Barons Hockey Show" will be aired live from 7pm-8pm each Monday night until April 12th.

The Voice of the Cleveland Barons, Jamie Smock, will co-host the show with Jason Gibbs, Promotions Director for WKNR. Smock has been the Barons radio voice since the 2001-02 inaugural season. It will mark the Barons first radio show in the franchise's history.

"We are pleased to partner with WKNR and give the Greater Cleveland area another outlet for Barons Hockey," stated Michael T. Lehr, President of the Barons. "As the buzz surrounding playoff hockey builds, the Cleveland Barons Hockey Show will give our fans a forum to voice their excitement."

The first show on March 22nd will be aired live from Northfield Park on Route 8, off the Forbes Road exit of I-271 in Northfield.
