INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- TJ Hopkins launched his sixteenth home run of the year, but it wouldn't be enough as the Louisville Bats (53-46) fell to the Indianapolis Indians (47-53) by a score of 6-3 on Saturday night at Victory Field.

A pitcher's duel to start, the Indians struck first with a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth to take a 1-0 lead.

Michael Siani led the following inning off for the Bats with a single to left that was immediately followed by an Alejo Lopez double to bring the run home and tie the game at 1-1.

Levi Stoudt (2-3, 5.29) looked strong in his first start for Louisville since July 14, allowing only one run on three hits with a single walk while striking out four in 4.0 innings of work.

Indianapolis showed offensive power in the fifth and sixth inning, scoring a total of five runs on five hits to take a commanding 6-1 lead.

TJ Hopkins launched his sixteenth home run of the year, a two-run blast over the center field wall in the top of the eighth inning to cut the Bats' deficit to three, still down 6-3.

In the top of the ninth, Henry Ramos drew a two out walk to try and spark a rally, but Louisville couldn't take advantage of the man on-base, losing to the Indians 6-3.

Louisville and Indianapolis will play the season series finale tomorrow, Sunday, July 30. First pitch is set for 1:35 pm E.T., as righty Randy Wynne (3-2, 5.20) will take the mound for the Bats, facing off against lefty Cam Alldred (5-3, 4.81) on the hill for the Indians.
