
Americans Look to Extend Winning Streak Tonight in Missouri

Independence, Missouri -The Allen Americans continue their four game road trip tonight, at 7:05 pm in Independence, Missouri against ECHL Central Division rival the Missouri Mavericks.
The Allen Americans (9-3-0-0) have a six game winning streak, and are now tied for first place in the ECHL Central Division with both Quad City and Tulsa.
Americans forward Jack Combs, has a twelve game point streak, the third longest in team history. Jason Deitsch 13 games (2nd) and Nino Musitelli 17 games (1st). Combs is also tied for the ECHL scoring lead with 20 points.
Allen netminder Riley Gill, last week's CCM ECHL Goalie of the Week, has won a season best six straight games between the pipes. Gill is second overall in the ECHL with a 1.84 goals against average.
Missouri is led by forward Sebastien Thinel, with 14 points, in 13 games, scoring four goals, and adding 10 assists. Thinel is a -5 and is averaging 1.08 points per game.
The two teams will meet a total of nine times this season, with Allen taking the first meeting 3-1 in Missouri on November 14th.
