Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee, WI-After traveling to Quad City on Friday night, the Milwaukee Admirals return to the Bradley Center Ice this Saturday, January 3rd at 7:30 pm against the Peoria Rivermen in search of a team record-tying 10th consecutive home win.
The Admirals current nine-game home winning streak is the team's longest since they had a pair of eight-game streaks during the 2005-06 season and it puts them one shy of the club record of ten, set from October 22nd to December 27th, 1992. It is the sixth time in club history that the team has strung together at least eight straight at home. Couple the winning streak with a high number of road games and Milwaukee has not lost at the Bradley Center since falling 5-2 to Rockford on November 15th.
The first 5,000 fans through the gates Saturday will receive an Admirals/Milwaukee Brewer's Winter hat, courtesy of the Brewers. In addition, Saturday's game is the first of two options for the Admirals/Brewer's Two-Man Advantage Ticket Plan, which features two tickets to a 2008-09 Admirals game and two tickets to a 2009 Brewers for only $30. Click here for more information on the Two-Man Advantage.
Also at the game, teenage actress Meaghan Martin will be signing autographs on the concourse from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Martin is best known for her role as Tess Tyler in the Disney Channel original movie, Camp Rock. She has also made guest appearances on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Close to Home, and Just Jordan. In addition, the Las Vegas, NV native will soon reprise her role of mean girl Tess from Camp Rock, in the film's sequel Camp Rock 2.
Because of Martin's appearance, the doors to the Bradley Center will open at 6:00 pm, which is a half-hour earlier that the normal Saturday time of 6:30.
Last, but certainly not least, the world-famous ZOOperStars will perform at Saturday's game. The ZOOperstars are a group of huge, inflatable animal characters based on famous athletes, like Mario Lemule, Dominik Hashark, and Whale Gretzky, that perform over 175 shows each season across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. They have been featured on ESPN, CNN, Fox SportsNet, and NBC's The Today Show and they have also appeared at dozens of all-star games in baseball, hockey, and indoor soccer.
Fans can order tickets for Saturday, or any Admirals game, by calling Ticketmaster at (414) 276-4545 or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Groups of ten or more people receive a minimum of $2 off of each ticket. For more information or to order group tickets call the Admirals office at (414) 227-0550.
