Moose recall Howes, re-assign Labelle to Victoria

The Manitoba Moose announced today they have recalled forward Scott Howes from the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL. They also re-assigned Olivier Labelle to the Salmon Kings.

Howes, 21, has played in three games so far in his rookie pro season this year with the Moose. The Toronto, ON native has collected two penalty minutes. In 12 games with the Salmon Kings, Howes has scored nine points (2-7-9) and eight penalty minutes.

Labelle, 23, played in six games with the Moose where he collected two assists and 11 penalty minutes. Labelle has also played in 17 games so far this season with the Salmon Kings where he's scored 16 points (10-6-16) and 45 penalty minutes. In his three-year pro career, the St. Eustache, PQ native has played in 88 AHL games with Bridgeport and Syracuse. In that span, he's scored 34 points (12-22-34) and 177 penalty minutes.
