
Worcester Sharks Announce "Piccadilly Pub Shuffle Hockey" contest

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced today that Piccadilly Pub restaurants, celebrating their 38th year anniversary, will give Sharks fans the opportunity to win $38,000 with the "Piccadilly Pub Shuffle Hockey" contest. The contest will begin on Saturday, January 3rd vs. the Lowell Devils at 7:05p.m.
The "Piccadilly Pub Shuffle Hockey" contest will take place at the following Worcester Sharks home games: JANUARY 3, MARCH 28, AND APRIL 11.
At the above games during an intermission, four lucky fans chosen from the entries at the Fan Assistance Table at the DCU Center will have the chance to SHOOT and WIN $38,000! All fans that participate will take home a Piccadilly Pub gift certificate.
"Piccadilly Pub is proud to sponsor the Worcester Sharks and the 2009 AHL All-Star Classic," said the VP of Operations of Piccadilly Pub restaurants, John Luvison. "We want to give away the $38,000 to a Sharks fan as we celebrate our 38th anniversary. The contest should be a lot of fun."

The Sharks host the Lowell Devils on Saturday, January 4th at 7:05p.m. Before the game, 60-year rivals Auburn and Hudson varsity hockey will face-off at 4p.m. on the DCU Center Ice. Tickets are just $10.50 when purchased in advance by contacting the Worcester Sharks Front Office at 508.929.0500 or by crashing the net at www.sharksahl.com. Tickets will gain you admission into both games on Saturday, January 3rd. Doors will open at 3:30p.m. for the hockey doubleheader.
